ABOUT COLLEGE
Swami Sivananda Sanskrit College, Nuapada a pioneering academic institution was established on 2nd July 1997 in Deogarh district of odisha state .It was started by Dr. Prasanta Kumar Pradhan (IAS) under the “Viswa Seva Sangha Trust, Nuapada, Deogarh. The college was started to fulfill the dream of the noblemen of this area and need of Higher education in one of the most educationally neglected areas of the district. It was established against a rural back drop catering to the needs of students mostly from modest back ground who cannot afford to go out and join other institutes to pursue their higher education and yet can get quality education at their door step. To bring the students hailing from backward classes and lower middle families at par with those from expressive and formed institutes is the major challenge that epitomizes the dreams of the founding fathers . Our institution is functioning imparting both Upashastri (+2 Arts) and Shastri (+3 Arts) stream. Our vision is to lead and guide our students in their path of success and progress. The college continues to be guided by these ideals. Our college is recognized by DHE, Odisha and affiliated by S.J.S.V. Puri, odisha .
Of course, it is to admit that the hard work of the local enthusiastic and their full hearted effort were the reason for the inception of this intuition. As it happens everywhere Swami Sivananda Sanskrit College began with the noble en devour of some dedicated individuals. As far as possible the college provides quality education by calculating social, cultural and moral values has been shaping to conduct the character of the students which can enable them to face the challenges in real life situations.
Principal being the head of the institution manages its day to day administration with the help of staff members. Active participation of employees and regular interaction with consultation between them make decision making process smooth, participatory and trans- parent. The students’ feedback on teachers, the Anti-ragging and the women harassment cell make the administration aware of the problems of students and staffs help to solve them at the earliest.
With a view to making the education more community based various value added programmers such as blood donation camp, spoken Sanskrit courses , Sanskruta Saptaha , seminars are organized to inculcate moral values in the students .
